artsScene Toronto at the Gardiner Museum

artsScene and The Gardiner Museum invite you to an exclusive experience of YOKO ONO: THE RIVERBED.

The evening will commence with a private reception in the Terrace Room on the 3rd floor of the Museum and will be followed by after-hours access to the participatory exhibition, which invites visitors to collaborate with the artist through interacting with the artwork itself. Join us to learn more about Yoko Ono and what the Gardiner Museum has to offer.

Opening Reception: Winter Exhibitions

We'll be celebrating the opening of the Winter Exhibition at the Confederation Centre of the Arts this Saturday!

Join us at Receiver Coffee Co. at 6:30pm to toast one of the featured artists, artsScene PEI committee member Norma Jean MacLean. 🥂

We'll head to the Opening Reception: Winter Exhibitions around 7pm.

artsScene Toronto Working Rehearsal and Reception at The National Ballet

In partnership with Turnout, artsScene Toronto hosted a rehearsal for the National Ballet of Canada's Winter Season production!

The rehearsal was followed by a special reception with the opportunity to mingle with fellow artsScene Toronto members, Turnout members and National Ballet dancers, and listen to an educational chat from guest speaker Peter Ottmann, Senior Ballet Master.

artsScene PEI Holiday Cocktail Hour

artsScene PEI hosted an evening of holiday food & drink, featuring a new collection of artwork by Norma Jean MacLean and a screening of seasonal short films from the National Film Board of Canada.

About the artist: Norma Jean MacLean
New work will feature a series of digital prints that visually process and organize past actions into new forms. The digital deconstruction of an oil painting made as an act of letting go is reconstructed into new defined forms in an attempt to keep it together.

In September, ArtsScene Vancouver was thrilled to be invited to the eighth edition of the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series.

Now in its eighth year, the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series seeks to discover the best emerging visual artists from across North America. More than 800 Vancouver artists applied, and the Vancouver finals featured seventeen of Vancouver's best emerging artists as chosen by Artsy.
