artsScene Toronto Visits Ryerson Image Centre for a Private Tour!

On Wednesday May 23rd, artsScene Toronto hosted a private tour and social at the Ryerson Image Centre (RIC)!

RIC's Exhibitions Curator, Gaëlle Morel led a private tour of the works of Nadia Myre and Shelley Niro (2017 Scotiabank Photography Award winner). These two contemporary Indigenous artists explore notions of culture, identity and the complex colonial histories of Indigenous people using photography and film.

artsScene Toronto's YOKO ONO Experience

In partnership with the Young Patron Circle members of the Gardiner Museum, artsScene Toronto hosted an exclusive experience of the YOKO ONO: THE RIVERBED Exhibit.

The evening began with a private reception in the Terrace Room on the 3rd floor of the museum, followed by after-hours access to the participatory exhibition. This installation invited visitors to collaborate with the artist by interacting with the artwork itself.
