The Toronto Children's Chorus, established in 1978, is recognized as one of the finest treble choirs in the world. Members of the Board of Directors are engaged in the TCC's commitment to the enrichment of children’s lives through the discipline, teamwork and unique camaraderie of fine choral singing. The Board is responsible for the strategic direction and financial health of the organization alongside the Artistic Director and Managing Director. Board members take primary leadership in the areas of non-profit governance and fundraising with the assistance of the Managing Director. The TCC has a number of annual development initiatives and is currently exploring new innovative opportunities to support the organization's mission. Board members are also invited to participate as TCC ambassadors on national and international tours, special guest performances and a 5-concert season featuring major venues such as Roy Thomson Hall and the Toronto Centre for the Arts among other illustrious artistic activities.
